These days Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) is the top Republican — or Ranking Member — on the Senate Budget Committee, but a few years back he chaired the Senate Judiciary Committee and he remains one of — if not the — the most senior senators on that panel.
Below find a rough transcript of Ask a Pol’s exclusive — and short! — interview with Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) on UFO whistleblower David Grusch, slightly edited for clarity.
LISTEN: Laslo & Sen. Chuck Grassley
TRANSCRIPT: Sen. Chuck Grassley
Matt Laslo: “Have a random question for you. Have you heard of this UAP or UFO whistleblower, David Grusch?”
Chuck Grassley: “No.”
ML: “I only ask because his claim is that there are SAPs — or Special Access Programs — that have been hidden from Congress and that becomes a Judiciary [Committee] question.”
CG: “That's got nothing to do with my investigation, so I don't have any comment on it because I don't know much about it.”
ML: “Yeah, fair. But it’s interesting, because he makes a constitutional claim that the executive branch has been hiding Special Access Programs from Congress. So I'm curious if it does…”
CG: “Well, I’ve got 28 investigations going, I can’t keep on top of somebody else's investigation.”
ML: “There you go. Appreciate you, sir.”

Yo Matt someone told me a few days ago oh Mike Turner saw the name Schumer and that alone was enough for him to want to gut it. Can you explain to me why that’s not the case. I think Turner were someone else puppet but can you tell me why it’s significant that a bipartisan bill written by senate Majority Chuck Schumer got gutted? Do you really think it’s just Turner or is there something else going on?
Wait for it...new Himes coming - and I don't fully understand it, but the claim is House Intel (to Himes knowledge...) wasn't involved.
