Ask a Pol asks:

What do you make of claims from former AARO Director Tim Phillips that the UAP Caucus has been locked out of classified Special Access Programs — SAPs — by Oversight Chair James Comer and Speaker Mike Johnson?

Key Burlison:

“I've reached out to Comer and to Johnson, neither one of them remember this at all,” Rep. Eric Burlison exclusively tells Ask a Pol.

Will new White House policy on classified info hurt UAP?

After the Iran bombing campaign, Axios is reporting the White House wants to cut Congress off from classified info because of all the leaks. Do you think that could hurt your ongoing UAP investigation?

“I get it, you can't trust every member of Congress,” Burlison says. “The point is, like, if you're gonna put me in a position where I have a responsibility to to be a part of this investigation, this task force, give me the tools and the information I need.

“Or else don't. Or just eliminate the whole thing and then you can save my time altogether.”

Caught our ear, per Mexico trip:

What was your takeaway from seeing the Buga Sphere in Mexico last week?

“I'm not convinced that any of those artifacts are real. They're very intriguing to look at. They're very interesting,” Burlison tells us.

“When I asked [David] Grusch about it, he didn't really know much about the sphere, but he told me that there's some tridactyl type of — I think that's what they call them, tridactyls — those ‘mummies’ that are down there, particularly in Peru, that he thinks that they are consistent with the things that he's been briefed on.”

Below find a rough transcript of Ask a Pol’s exclusive interview with Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO), slightly edited for clarity.

TRANSCRIPT: Rep. Eric Burlison (6-26-2025)

SCENE: Rep. Eric Burlison’s walking to the US Capitol when Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo joins him.

Matt Laslo: Why’d you travel to Mexico?

Eric Burlison: “Went to go — you know!”

ML: “Yeah — what, like, were you talking to lawmakers down there and they invited you?”

EB: “I had spoken, learned that there was some scientists that were headed down there that they're working — I'm not gonna.”

ML: “Yeah.”

EB: “But yeah, they — and so, and I asked Grusch about it, about the Buga Sphere? What do you call it?”

ML: “Yeah.”

EB: “…and about whether it's worthwhile to go down there. And I happen to have the time to do it…”

ML: “Yeah?”

EB: “…because it was an odd week where we were in the district, and my family — my kids were at church camp.”

ML: “Oh nice.”

EB: “My wife was at a work conference.”

ML: “Oh nice.”

EB: “So it's either sit at home or fund raise.”

Laslo laughs.

EB: “And I just thought, you know what this is. This is an opportunity you'll probably never have again. It'll be an interesting story, at the least.”

ML: “Yeah. What’d you make it? What was your takeaway?”

EB: “I'm not convinced that any of those artifacts are real.”

ML: “Yeah?”

EB: “They're very intriguing to look at. They're very interesting.”

ML: “Yeah?”

EB: “When I asked Grusch about it, he didn't really know much about the sphere, but he said that — he told me that there's some tridactyl type of — I think that's what they call them, tridactyls — that those, those ‘mummies’ that are down there, particularly in Peru, that he thinks that they are consistent with the things that he's been briefed on.”

ML: “Interesting.”

EB: “And so that was — to me, that was worthwhile to go see that.”

ML: “Did you meet any lawmakers down there?”

EB: “No.”

ML: “No? What do you think of the White House kind of curtailing the classified info that Congress gets? Is that gonna hit the UAP issue?”

EB: “I've reached out to Comer and to Johnson. Neither one of them remember this at all.”

ML: “Yeah?”

EB: “So we'll find out.”

ML: “Yeah?”

EB: “We’re looking into it.”

ML: “Well, and this is more post-Iran, the White House says that they want to cut off classified info from Congress because of all the leaks.”

EB: “Okay?”

ML: “Do you think that could hurt the UAP issue and that investigation?”

EB: “What are you talking about? Which? What now?”

ML: “After the Iran — look at the, Axios had a piece on it…”

Laslo pulls article up on his phone and shows it to Burlison.

ML: “‘SCOOP — Trump to limit sharing of classified info…’”

EB: “Yeah, because you can't, like, I get it, you can't trust every member of Congress.”

ML: “Yeah?”

EB: “But I do think that you’ve given us the responsibility…”

ML: “Your [[closed-door, GOP] conference meetings go out live.”*

*fuckin Jake Sherman…

EB: “The point is, like, if you're gonna give, put me in a position where I have a responsibility to to be a part of this investigation, this task force. Why? You know, give me the tools and the information I need.”

ML: “Yeah.”

EB: “Or else don't. Like, or just eliminate the whole thing and then you can save my time altogether.”

ML: “Do you think the Secrets Task Force might be carved out if they do a broader policy, because it seems like they're freaking out about the wars and the attack on Iran, not so much other issues.”

EB: “Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're just focused on those issues.”

ML: “Yeah.”

EB: “I gotta go vote.”

ML: “Yes sir. Preciate ya!”

Folks please wake up. You’re being played by this “secrets task force” they have no intent to investigate anything. It’s all narrative control designed to hurt the credibility of Elizondo, Davis, Grusch, and AARO so they can reset the story with new characters that better align with Trump and Thiels interests.

I think there’s a tug of war going on between the holders of the goodies in the Legacy Program in the MIC (including aerospace) and the tech bros and their Wall Street venture capital partners in investment who want into the action. Disclosure of a kind and degree fits in as a wedge promoting the transition from the old set of custodians to the new, but it would be a modified limited hangout version.

I'm watching for a bunch of new "heroes" to emerge via paid content creators whose stories align with Christian themes. This merges the weird Anti-christ ideas that Thiel is constantly talking about and the evangelic MAGA crowd. Think Jake Barber and Chris Bledsoe (the lady, divine feminine, prophecy, angels/demons, etc)

Tom Dillon has already warned that he's seen behind the curtain and knows in the next 6 months that Thiel will be buying content creators to sell the idea that the Palantir "list" is good for Americans because.... terrorism. We should expect this type of paid narrative control to point the UAP conversation in a direction he wants as well.

Tom Dillon? I’m not familiar with this name. But I think you’re correct that Thiel will try to push the topic in a direction that suits him. There’s tons of data somewhere that he would, I’m sure, love to have for Palantir. Even though he’s already integrated with Defense, that data must be sequestered.

Well, I guess Grusch’s friend won’t get along with the Collins Elite types who regard the NHI as “demons” rather than angels! And then there’s Lue and others who have hinted at part of the “ontological shock” of Disclosure being the way our conventional religious ideas would be challenged. People may have an interest in trying to skew the interpretation of the Phenomenon in a particular direction, but the reality is we don’t have enough information to know how it will impact human beliefs and culture. While I respect every experiencer for having the courage to discuss their experiences, that respect doesn’t entail that I buy their interpretation of what they have experienced.

I'm more focused on why Burlison is suddenly speaking for David Grusch. Grusch has been very careful and articulate in speaking for himself in the past. Why is he suddenly silent and invisible while a GOP congressman is using Grusch's credibility on the topic to spread all kinds of wild claims?

Those are good questions. At some point I expect Grusch will have more to say publicly.

I'm glad you said that. It had me feeling very confused about this too. Grusch most definitely isn't the type to just let words fall out of his mouth like these guys do. Do you think he has had to sign an NDA to be a part of this team? People have made comments on other forums speculating if we would hear from him afterwards at all. Is he done with the public? Is this the last step for him? He's why I got hooked again, and it gives me uneasiness to not hear directly from him.

Part of his employment agreement would certainly have restrictions on his speach. He’s a witness and a staffer participating in a legal investigation. You don’t see staffers running around giving statements and interviews to the press for a reason

That's what I thought. I can't wait for the next Signal to come out!!! I keep checking 😊

and it's worth noting that since Grusch is a staffer for Burlison he's likely not permitted to make public statements about the topic (because it's an official investigation) without authorization from Burlison. This likely extends to after his 4 month employment as well.
