EXCLUSIVE — Rep. Luna says UAP Caucus holding field hearing next

On Wednesday morning Congressional UAP Caucus co-chairs Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) and Tim Burchett (R-TN) met along with caucus member Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) to discuss how to best advance their ongoing investigation.

After two classified SCIF briefings exploring the allegations made by UFO whistleblower David Grusch that frustrated members of the UAP Caucus, Luna says the trio decided it’s time to take their investigation on the road and hold a field hearing next.

“I feel like we can get more done that way, and we can kind of direct it and be more aggressive,” Luna exclusively tells Ask a Pol. “It's been incredibly frustrating. But the good news is that you guys know that we're not full of crap, because everyone's getting the same message. And it's like, as a general consensus with the amount of pushback that we're getting, I think it's like the bipartisan caucus is like, ‘what the heck is going on?”

EXCLUSIVE — Tim Burchett's frustrated with evasive IG: "I’m tired of that stuff, just give us the answer"

Upon leaving Friday’s classified SCIF briefing, Congressional UAP Caucus co-chair Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) was frustrated with all the secrecy hiding in plain site within the nation’s intelligence community. “Someone would ask a question, but then someone, they would give a very unanswer-answer. Then somebody else would ask it more specific, and then they would give a better answer. And I’m tired of that stuff, just give us the answer,” Burchett said.

Below find a rough transcript of Ask a Pol’s exclusive interview with Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), slightly edited for clarity.

TRANSCRIPT: Rep. Anna Paulina Luna

SCENE: Laslo’s just switched from his mini-microphone to his iphone after franticly trying to figure out why his mic was off for the first :30 seconds of the interview (turns out the card in his recorder accidentally locked). Hence redundant questions…

Matt Laslo: “Why do a field hearing off campus?”

Anna Paulina Luna: “Because I feel like we can get more done that way, and we can kind of direct it and be more aggressive.”

ML: “I mean, because right now it's just like they've been trying to solve every which way?”

APL: “Correct. Correct. It's been incredibly frustrating. But the good news is that you guys know that we're not full of crap, because everyone's getting the same message. And it's like, as a general consensus with the amount of pushback that we're getting, I think it's like the bipartisan caucus is like, ‘what the heck is going on?”

We enter a crowded elevator with her colleagues who are also heading to vote on the House floor.

ML: “Yeah. And what do you hope to get out a field hearing?”

APL: “I think the more information we can get out there I think is incredibly important and then also locations and stuff. Just following up on some things.”

Any chance it’s held at Skinwalker Ranch? Known site of government research program. The findings point to intradimensional evidence. Many scientists who’ve worked there are public. It’s tied to Corbel and Knap. I’m sure Brandon Fugal would love to host

Could be. They're all mum now.

But remember we do have a fan of Skinwalker Ranch in the Senate https://www.askapol.com/p/exclusive-sen-mike-lee-im-on-an-episode?lli=1&utm_source=%2Fsearch%2Fskin%2520walker%2520ranch&utm_medium=reader2

How would a field hearing even work. I can’t say that I can recall a recent example

They're just hearings held on location, ie outside of the Capitol / Washington. Though we have no idea what they're thinking... https://www.everycrsreport.com/reports/RS20928.html

That’s helpful. The venue would have to consent to allow the hearing correct?

I presume. But I’m curious if they don’t try to hold it in front of the gates of a classified facility or base, ya know?

That could be amazing or a total disaster. 🤔

They’ve said before if they’re denied access they may just set up in front of the gate or nearby haha.

That sounds like political theater. Other than give politicians some press I’m not sure what that would accomplish unless it’s getting some great witnesses under oath.

I thought the point of hearings was to some degree political theater to apply pressure and influence public sentiment/interest? Otherwise, why not just hold them all in SCIFs where witnesses can answer everything?

If they are putting witnesses under oath yes. If not it’s just more political noise and the general media and public will continue to ignore it.

Not sure why they would break away from putting witnesses under oath like the last hearing. Their problem may be, since they want to focus on government officials and contractors they’ve mentioned, whether or not they participate sans subpoena. Oversight can subpoena even without a select committee so this will be interesting.

The witnesses should be under oath, even if on the road.

I’m gonna guess somewhere in Florida. It’s home for both Luna and Moskowitz and definitely has some interesting places to go poking around in (Eglin, MacDill, Patrick, etc...)
