TRANSCRIPT: Sen. Jack Reed

Matt Laslo: “Hey, how are you?”

Jack Reed: “I’m good.”

ML: “Curious, do you remember the — a memo sent out by the Joint Chiefs of Staff on UAPs last May or whatever?”

Reed shakes head.

ML: “It was interesting ‘cause it rose to their level, and they seem to be recognizing it. Did that come across your radar at all?”

JR: “Not last May, no. What has come across has been the multiple sightings and the issue of UAPs crossing into secure space over military installations.”

ML: “In last year’s NDAA [National Defense Authorization Act] negotiations, do you know who gutted Schumer’s UAP amendment?”

ICYMI

JR: “No, I don’t.”

ML: “No? It just never came up in your talks?”

JR: “Ah — not that I can recall.”

ML: “Yeah. Thank you.”
