Ask a Pol asks:

Recently, Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Mike Rounds (R-SD), Tim Kaine (D-VA) and Mark Kelly (D-AZ) have voiced concerns to top Pentagon brass and/or Ask a Pol about this persistent problem of intrusion over US airspace...

Key Rubio:

“People always want to immediately default to, y’know, aliens, extraterrestrial, but the fact of the matter is if there are things flying overhead in our country that aren't supposed to be there and they aren’t ours, that should be among our highest priorities,” Sen. Marco Rubio exclusively tells Ask a Pol

AARO’s duty:

“Everyone's interested in the look-back and all those other things,” Rubio tells us. “But the most important thing is determining a process for reporting unidentified aircraft, primarily for purposes of preventing strategic surprise.”

ICYMI — Ask a Pol’s exclusive w/ Rep. Jared Moskowitz

Below find a rough transcript of Ask a Pol’s exclusive interview with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), slightly edited for clarity.

TRANSCRIPT: Sen. Marco Rubio

Matt Laslo: “Spoken to Timothy Phillips yet? Over at AARO, [Sean] Kirkpatrick's replacement?

Rubio shakes head no.

ML: “Do you have any — what have you thought about that declassified report they put out? Like, what is AARO doing these days?”

Marco Rubio: “Theoretically, they’re supposed to determine — I mean, everyone's interested in the look-back and all those other things, but the most important thing is determining a process for reporting unidentified aircraft, primarily for purposes of preventing strategic surprise. So I hope that's what they continue to focus on, because that's what they're supposed to be focused on.”

ML: “But then talking to [Sen. Kirsten] Gillibrand, [Sen. Mike] Rounds, [Sen. Tim] Kaine complains about it over Langley. Like, they just say they were supposed to— [Sen.] Mark Kelly was complaining about it last week — this persistent problem of intrusion over US airspace...”

ICYMI — Ask a Pol’s exclusive w/ SASC Chair Reed

MR: “Yeah, it's a very serious problem. People always want to immediately default to, y’know, aliens and extraterrestrial, but the fact of the matter is if there are things flying overhead in our country that aren't supposed to be there and they aren’t ours, that should be among our highest priorities. That's really what we're trying to address here.”

ML: “Yeah? Thanks.”

Reporter: “Sir, do you anticipate any changes to the House TikTok bill and the newest version that looks expected to come over?”

MR: “I don't know what they're going to add to it over there...”

That TikTok measure was signed into law by President Joe Biden earlier today.

Thanks A ton for these interviews! I hope after these we get to hear what Moskovitz has to say about Burlison's SCIF conclusions after talking to him, and Luna's hearing update. Thanks for your work Matt!

Thank Matt! The UAP caucus’s initial investigation was into Grusch’s claims of USG knowledge of NHI and crash retrievals, then it was about the MIC spending tax money on black programs without proper congressional oversight, now Rubio is saying it’s about protecting national security from aerial incursions from adversarial nations. I can see how all three are related, but I’m worried the UAP caucus is deviating more and more from their original intent. Not that they aren’t free to pursue what they think is important, but they seem either unfocused, or like they’re being given a run around.

The thing is uaps ain’t going away. I do think the truth is pretty dark and the people in charge of the secret whoever they are probably elites of the IC and airforce and the whole military industrial complex. Dude Eisenhower fuckin warned us 64 years ago. 64 years to get stronger and it almost feels like yeah America is a democracy until they get to this deep question of reality itself and this uap thing. The thing is uap sightings are increasing why idk. I hope a mass sighting over the White House goes down. They already tail airforce 1. We saw that in December the Fkn president of the United States! The uap entered the perimeter same uap Kirkpatrick talked about and Corbell. I wonder what the pilots thought. February 2023 shootdowns how uncomfortable Biden was lol. He laughed about ufos in 2021 said ask Obama and then 2 years later he didn’t think it was that funny. Uap interagency is formed but classified Schumer bill gets drafted and Sullivan and Austin end up Gutting it via Turner is the word. What did they find?

Thanks for your work, Matt. Your extemporaneous encounters with Congress members is unique. Why do I get the feeling that Congress is cowed by the MIC?
