Who?
Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) — fmr. Chair of HPSCI; freshman US Senator
LISTEN: Laslo & Schiff
Ask a Pol asks:
Are UAP still on your radar?
Key Schiff:
“I found the subject totally fascinating,” Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) told Ask a Pol UAP. “Some sightings we’ve explained after the fact, but others remain unexplained — and you cannot remove the possibility there are other reasons why.”

Caught our ear:
“I'd love to continue to be involved in the issue,” Schiff said.
You gotta talk to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer who just reintroduced his UAP Disclosure Act as part of the NDAA — or National Defense Authorization Act.
“We’ll see,” Schiff replied.
ICYMI — Ask a Pol UAP spoke with Schumer recently…
Below find a rough transcript of Ask a Pol’s exclusive interview with Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), slightly edited for clarity.
TRANSCRIPT: Sen. Adam Schiff
SCENE: After voting on the Senate floor, Sen. Adam Schiff and an aide are coming down an escalator when Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo starts interviewing the senator before waiting with him for one of the Capitol’s underground trams to come and whisk him to his office across the street.
Matt Laslo: “Senator Schiff?”
Adam Schiff: “How are you?”
ML: “Over [in the House] when you were on Intel, you were active on the UAP/ UFO issue.”
AS: “Yeah.”
ML: “You're not really on those committees over here, but is it on your radar?”
Only 3 days left on Ask a Pol’s summer SALE!
AS: “You know, I found the subject totally fascinating. My takeaway from the hearings that we did on House Intel is some of the things that were unexplained we have now, after the fact, been able to go back and explain. Either as images created as a result of the sensing technologies. But others we can't explain.”
ML: “Yeah?”
AS: “And those are obviously the most interesting. I suspect that probably the reason we can't explain them is that we don't have enough data.”
Underground tram arrives.
ML: “Yeah?”
AS: “But you cannot remove the possibility that there are other reasons why we can't explain what we're seeing and multiple instruments are seeing something.”
Tram doors lumber open.
ML: “Right?”
AS: “So it's not just a pilot observing it with all the frailties of a human at the controls.”
ML: “Yeah?”
Schiff turns his back as he enters tram.
AS: “So I'd love to continue to be involved in the issue.”
ML: “You gotta talk to [Senate Minority Leader Chuck] Schumer. He introduced — reintroduced his UAPDA: UAP Disclosure Act yesterday as part of the NDAA [National Defense Authorization Act].”
AS: “We’ll see.”
Schiff aide: “Can I get your name and outlet?”
ML: “Matt Laslo, I run the wire service The LCB.”
Tram doors roll shut.
ML: “Thank you.”
