SCENE: Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo’s a half hour or so early to stake out a Senate vote.

Laslo notices Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and his entourage of security and staffers heading towards the Capitol Visitors Center, so he positions himself to be walking in front of Schumer and lets another reporter get in first.

Chuck Schumer: “Haven’t seen anything yet.”

Reporter I: “Have you…”

CS: “That’s it. That’s it!”

Reporter I: “Thank you. Sorry, sir.”
