My inbox informs me that Danny Sheehan's Citizens for Disclosure is circulating a transparency pledge, and has a page up displaying the members of Congress with whom they've met in regard to signing it. Burlison, Luna and Burchett aren't listed at all, and while Mace and Moskowitz both have met with them, so far they have not signed on — and neither has any other member.
I wonder who means to get around to it but hasn't yet, and who's dodging those meetings altogether. 🤔
Rep. Burchett and I might not agree about much, but we both know that announcing a couple of inactive domain names doesn't signal even the pretense of a serious effort.
And once upon a time I'd have been heartened by the idea of an FBI investigation into the missing scientists. But that was when we had a functional FBI.
