SCENE: After spending a few minutes answers questions from TV networks, Rep. Tim Burchett’s making his way up the steps of the US Capitol when Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo catches him for a quick update.

Matt Laslo: “Mr. Burchett.”

Rep. Tim Burchett: “Yeah.”

Laslo: “We got any update on these missing scientists?”

Burchett bends down to pick something up.

Burchett: “Do what?”

Laslo: “You got any update on these missing scientists?”

Burchett: “No. I had word last night that maybe the FBI is going to start looking into it.”

Laslo: “Yeah?”

Burchett: “Hoping that’s the case.”

Laslo: “Do you know — have you guys heard what they’re going to do with aliens.gov?”

Burchett: “No. No. I just want the President to release it. I get worried when they start talking about websites and stuff.”

Laslo: “So still no word?”
