Who?
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) — Chair, Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets
LISTEN: Laslo & Luna
Ask a Pol asks:
Is the public, Sept. 9th UAP hearing in the US House Oversight Committee intended to be a message to the Pentagon or to a skeptical American public?
Key Luna:
“Well, right now, we’re also, simultaneously, working on getting clearances,” Rep. Anna Paulina Luna exclusively tells Ask a Pol UAP. “We keep being told we don’t have clearances for certain things.”
“So as far as we’re concerned, there’s other blocks that are being put up,” Luna says. “But no matter what, our witnesses are really good, and it’s just confirming what a lot of people think. So you’ll have to tune in to the not-cancelled UAP hearing.”
Please. Do. It. Please.
Caught our ear:
But it’s not going to focus on the Wall Street Journal article* on the Air Force?
“There are also people I’ve found who previously worked at the State Department putting out false information,” Luna says.

TRANSCRIPT: Chair Anna Paulina Luna (8-4-2025)
SCENE: Secrets Task Force Chair Anna Paulina Luna’s walking to a vote in the US House of Representatives when Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo catches up with her…
Matt Laslo (ML): “For next week, do we have witnesses yet…?”
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (APL): “Yeah.”
ML: “…for the hearing?”
APL: “We have four.”
ML: “Four? What’s the focus of…?”
APL: “You’ll see in the press release.”
ML: “But you guys — what do you hope, like, is this a message to the Pentagon that you want to make? Or is it a message to the American people?”
Struggle’s real for startups like us…
APL: “Right now, we’re also, simultaneously, working on getting clearances, because we keep being told we don’t have clearances for certain things. So as far as we’re concerned, there are other blocks being put up. But no matter what, our witnesses are really good, and it’s just confirming what a lot of people think. So you’ll have to tune in to the not-cancelled hearing.”
ML: “But it’s not going to focus on the Wall Street Journal article on the Air Force?”
APL: “You’d have to tune in.”
Laslo laughs
APL: “But there are also people I’ve found who previously worked at the State Department putting out false information.”
ML: “Uh huh.”
APL: “And a lot of that stuff. So…that’s it.”
ML: “Very cool. And we’ll see that Tuesday morning?”
APL: “You’ll see the press release. It should already be out, in regards to our witnesses. So I’m actually going to check on that right now.”
ML: “But it’ll be next Tuesday morning is the hearing?”
APL: “On the ninth, yes.”
ML: “Ninth. Cool, cool. Thank you, ma’am.”
