ML: “Fair, fair — nightmare, some say.”

They laugh.

ML: “Have you seen — do you know what's up with Senate Leader [Chuck] Schumer's UAPDA in the NDAA this year?”

MR: “Nuh-uh. I haven't heard anything about it.”

ML: “No?”

MR: “Nuh-uh.”

ML: “The past few years there's been a mystery over who gutted it and there's been some finger pointing over here, maybe [fmr. HPSCI Chair] Mike Turner — but it hasn't come up this time?”

MR: “No, I haven't heard anything about it this time. Doesn't mean it won't, but I haven't heard it yet.”

MR: “I don’t even remember us talking about it in the past, so…”

ML: “Oh really?”

MR: “It hadn’t [inaudible] to me.”

ML: “Yeah?”

Rogers laughs.

ML: “Yup. And it hasn't really come up this time around?”

MR: “Not so far.”

ML: “Sounds right. Have a good one!”
