Ask a Pol asks:

Do you know about Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s UAP Disclosure Act — or UAPDA — because Congressman [Eric] Burlison told us Senate Appropriations staffers (once again…) kept it out of this year’s NDAA [National Defense Authorization Act]?

Key Collins:

“Never heard of it,” Sen. Susan Collins exclusively told Ask a Pol UAP when asked about the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Disclosure Act.

TRANSCRIPT: Sen. Susan Collins (12-16-2025)

SCENE: Ask a Pol‘s Matt Laslo spots Sen. Susan Collins and an aide flanked by more than a dozen reporters awaiting one of the underground Senate trams that carry lawmakers to votes in the US Capitol. Laslo pretends to play with his phone, making no eye contact. When the Senator hops the tram, Laslo casually slides onto a different subway car.

When the tram arrives at the first Senate Office Building, Collins exits, so Laslo follows her lead. He gives the Senator space as she messages someone on her phone before hopping an escalator. As the Senator moves her eyes off her phone for a second to step on the escalator, Laslo says “Hey Senator…” before snagging this Ask a Pol exclusive…

Matt Laslo: “Have you ever heard of [Senate Minority Leader Chuck] Schumer’s UAP Disclosure Act?”

Sen. Susan Collins: “No.”

Laslo: “Someone — Congressman [Eric] Burlison said Appropriation staffers in the Senate opposed it in the NDAA?”

Collins: “What — what is it?”

Laslo: “It’s a — “UAP” is the new UFO, but it’s Disclosure Act to get the government to open up documentation it has on it. The stuff [fmr. Senate Majority Leader] Harry Reid was talking about.”

Collins: “I don’t know. Never heard of it.”

Laslo: “Never heard of it?”

Aide: “Thank you, Matt.”

Laslo: “Interesting.”

Laslo: “Thank you.”

Collins walks to a Senators Only elevator.

Laslo: “Preciate ya.”

From around the corner Laslo hears the Senator…

Collins: “I have no idea what he’s talking about…”
