it's exhausting on the outside trying to pay attention and doing our own research. I couldn't imagine myself in Matt or some of the good guys in Congress (?) 's shoes. I'd be spinning in circles and useless to anyone else but the job.

This is why my god made strong booze and relaxing 🪴.

But Jesus that’s an unhealthy diet… gotta leave this town in next 5-10 years or it’ll literally kill me…

You should take a break and come enjoy that strong booze in Lynchburg. I'm about 30 mins South. Border town in TN/AL and also 35 mins from Redstone Arsenal. It could be a 2 for 1 experience 😉

So jealous. Like, even going to Great Falls is otherworldly from the swamp, let alone rest of Virginia.

gods country!

It is, but the people are less godly than they pretend to be. It can be just as phony as the DC area. I miss growing up between Philly and Trenton, you knew what you got in the NE the second you have to switch lanes on I95. I've spent my time in the swamp and I'd take both areas over it any day! Keep up the great work but don't let it gut your insides!

Right? Boring ass year from Ask a Pol perspective, until a ton of end of year scoops!

TL;DR: you never know because it's hard to say and you never can tell. But I can see why Age of Disclosure hasn't moved the needle much, at a time when their attention is distracted by one avoidable crisis after another.

So much for those "shock waves through the IC," but maybe there will be some aliens in the Epstein files.

Burlison sounds exhausted… this topic breaks people. I hope he’s able to have a good holiday break and come back feeling refreshed and ready to keep the fight going.
