Have you looked into the claims of UFO whistleblower David Grusch at all?

“No,” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries replies to Ask a Pol

We put our faith in you and killed our paywall. Got us?

Caught our ear:

Have you looked into the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office — or AARO — at all? Seen their latest report?

“I have not,” Jeffries tells us.

TRANSCRIPT: Rep. Hakeem Jeffries

SCENE: On the day AARO — or the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office — briefed the Congressional UAP Caucus earlier this month, Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo saw House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries taking a phone call the floor above the SCIF, so he waited in the wings...

Matt Laslo: “How you doin’, Mr. Leader?”

Hakeem Jeffries: “Hey. How’s it going?”

ML: “Are you going to the SCIF briefing downstairs?”

Laslo laughs.

HJ: “No-no-no, I’m going back to the CVC [Capitol Visitors Center] meeting.”

ML: “I was curious, they are meeting downstairs with folks at AARO. Have you looked into them at all? Their, like, latest report?”

HJ: “I have not, well, I had a secure briefing earlier in the week about the events in the Middle East, and we’ll continue to start in close communication with the Biden administration.”

ML: “Have you looked into the claims of David Grusch at all?”

HJ: “No.”

MJ: “The whistleblower?”

Jeffries shakes his head.

ML: “No?”

HJ: “No.”

ML: “Preciate ya.”

HJ: “Thanks.”

Politico asks a weak, news of the day question and gets nothing.

Reporter: “Sir, we’re starting to see the outlines of the important plan to do with foreign aid. Will the Democrats support that plan?”

Had hopes for Jeffries, but he’s choosing to abstain from the UAP convo. There’s no fucking way the gang of 8 hasn’t discussed Grusch’s claims.

You'd be surprised who runs things... (maybe we'd be surprised too -- if we ever find them!)

"Politico tries and fails to cut Ask a Pol off…"

"Politico asks a weak, news of the day question and gets nothing."

Eat it Politico peasants, make way for the real journalist asking the real questions that get real responses (even if it's "I don't know"). Matt Laslo is out here running circles around legacy media, making it look too easy putting in levels of work the big dogs haven't done in decades. That's why Ask A Pol is my earpiece to what goes on in DC.

Hope Jeffries makes the time to read up on David Grusch and well a lot of other stuff on the topic. Either he's barely informed or keeping tight lips, but I'm leaning towards barely informed. I think if we ever get the truth on this whole topic, we'd all be surprised just how much of Congress is kept completely in the dark on this subject matter.

I hope whatever path the UAP caucus takes next whether it be field hearing, sub-committee, or Grucsh on staff (preferably all of the above) it gets more attention from the rest of the government, like Rubio said it should be a top priority, can't wait to hear from them again!

Interesting that he was very quick to say no. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but he very quickly knew who Grusch was rather than the "David who??" response. Progress?

Yeah. With ya. Not reading a ton into it (even as I'm reading a ton into it...).

Rep Jeffries does not come across as a puppet master type to me.

Someone smart enough to avoid the controversy Burchett and others have found themselves in that appears to may have shaken Burlison.
