EXCLUSIVE — Top Republican on Senate Armed Services Roger Wicker on Grusch

Ep. 31 — Sen. Roger Wicker is an ex officio member of the Senate Intelligence Committee (7-27-2023)

Error

In the RAW: Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS) is the ranking member, or top Republican, on the Senate Armed Services Committee, which gives him a seat on the Senate Intelligence Committee (ex officio, technically).

Please do let us know what you think of Wicker’s exchange with Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo. We’ve left this post raw on purpose; intrigued with your takeaways from it, especially when compared with our exclusive with Armed Services Committee Chair Jack Reed, also an ex officio member of the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Too raw? Not raw enough? Send us feedback!

EXCLUSIVE — Sen. Armed Services Chair Jack Reed: “no, I have not” looked into UFO whistleblower Grusch

Listen now (2 mins) | Episode in the RAW: Many forget (like me, initially), the chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Sen. Jack Reed (D-RI), is an ex officio member of the Senate Intelligence Committee.* On July 19, I asked Chair Reed if he had looked into UFO whistleblower David Grusch.

I am enjoying very much the visibility into congress, and I find it very refreshing.

For the raw looks, you might think about giving us a “key” or a “legend”.

There is in this interview for example a word - “... I wish I could [...garbled crucial word or phrase].” I believe it is “confirm that”. But not sure and would like some guidance.

Also I really appreciate the scene setting, when that is interesting. Where are we? On the special elevator, riding down an escalator, etc?
