"I just talked to the Speaker,” Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) exclusively tells Ask a Pol (pssst: WE ARE Ask a Pol. SUBSCRBE ALREADY fam!). “& he agreed with me: We just need total disclosure”
BUCKLE. UP. Burchett takes us on a ride (wait for Burchett to get the size of Rick, a homeless man (…so he can buy him a warm Carhart jacket…) who protests regularly at the Capitol. “You’re upscale homeless,” Burchett tells him after crossing an intersection to chat with him about an orange(ish) tree on the Capitol grounds. “He’s progressively homeless!”).

FULLER BURCHETT joshing with the media and such. Starts with discussion of how he’ll vote on Santos expulsion, etc.
Schumer’s UAP Amendment Version IS THE BEST VERSION WE HAVE SO FAR. Grusch helped craft it.
Burchett’s/Gaetz’s proposed UAP amendment, if you have seen it, will not accomplish anything.
Schumer's amendment is AIRTIGHT. Burchett and Gaetz's amendment is a joke - it once again excuses disclosure of things that might affect national security.
The DOD will just say "we don't have anything to disclose that won't endanger national security"
It also does not specify materials recovered by the various intelligence agencies-specifically the CIA, which is extremely relevant given the recent revelations.
So does anyone know yet whether this is competing with the UAPDA or just in addition to it? If it's the former, it would be a huge mistake.
You crazy son of a bitch, you did it again!
hahahaha
I understand that it’s in place of it.
