“The DOE [Department of Energy] is definitely part of this,” Burlison tells us. “I made sure that they did not exclude the DOE, because there’s just — there’s so much lore about them and their involvement.”

“I think that the CIA and I think that the FFRDCs [Federally Funded Research & Development Centers] has (sic) the most information,” Burlison says. “And the private contractors.”

Burlison: Yeah, well, I was busy.

Burlison: It needs to get — well, they’ll waive it, but what he needs is his clearances all brought back, so...
Laslo: Are you talking with Stephen Miller and them about that?
Burlison: Yes. I’ve been tenacious about that.
Laslo: Do you think it’ll come?
Burlison: Because to me, if you don’t clear his record and demonstrate that you’re able to make him right, you’re sending a message to everybody else who might want to come forward that you’re going to get punished if you come forward.
Laslo: Yeah? Would that be the President himself giving him that waiver? Or what would that look like?

Burlison: I’m not going to say, because I, yeah, just out of a level of confidence.
Laslo: Yeah? I hear that you guys are in regular talks now with this FBI unit on UFO?
Burlison: I’m having regular talks with all of these people.
Laslo: Do you trust any? Like, are you making headway with any?
Burlison: Um. I would — that is a very open-ended question.
Laslo: I know.
Burlison: We’re trying to make progress.
Laslo: So, like, are you also investigating, like Department of Energy or is this Pentagon-focused still?
